Before applying, research our philosophy of education. We encourage you to do your homework.  We strongly suggest For the Children’s Sake by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay, Narration and Retelling by Shannon R. Whiteside, and to preview the Alveary curriculum to get your feet wet.

Complete an online application. Please apply early as classes will fill up quickly. There is a non-refundable $125 application processing fee per family.

 

Attend a Parent Interview. After your application has been received, someone from the admissions committee will contact you to set up an interview.

Applications received on or after June 11, 2025 will be considered as space allows. Deadlines and
important dates for these applicants will be determined in mid-June. Families can expect that
interviews will take place in early July. 

It should be noted that a child must be 5 years old by the first RCA Community Day in order to apply for the upcoming academic year (kindergarten/seeds program).  Additionally, Redwood Classical Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its admissions, financial assistance, hiring or other community policies.  Lastly, the RCA Admissions Committee and board reserves the right to refuse admission or continued enrollment to anyone. If a waiting list should occur, admission priority goes to re-enrolling siblings, students of RCA Mentoring staff, and families who have students who span multiple grades.
