This term we are reading about America’s indigenous populations, learning about Marco Polo‘s journeys, reading a novel set in ancient Korea, and learning about plate tectonics and ocean currents. We are also doing an overview of world history from the time of the Vikings to just beyond 1066. To go along with that, we are reading tales of King Arthur and the knights of Camelot. We are spending two terms working through Plutarch’s biography of Pompey. Our current Shakespeare play is Hamlet.
